Thai Turkey Burgers

These are some of my favourite burgers ever.  THEY ARE AMAZING.  I don’t know how many times I can say it.  My dear friend Kim made these for me years ago, and she was kind enough to share her recipe.  I have made them several times throughout the years, and finally made them for my husband, who loved them as well.

Ingredients
-1ish lb ground turkey
-1tsp minced garlic
-2tsp minced ginger
-1tsp soy sauce
-pepper [[to taste]]
-2-3 drops of sesame oil
-1tsp lime juice
-1/2cu mayonnaise
-1/2 jar sweet thai chili sauce (approx 3.5 oz)
-Buns [[I prefer wheat or other fancy bread]]
-Lettuce [[for garnish]]

Directions
-Mix turkey, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, pepper, sesame oil, and lime juice together, until it’s all blended well. Form into patties.
-Cook on stove, grill, or oven.
-Meanwhile, mix mayo and chili sauce, to taste [[this is the “ketchup” of these delish burgers]].
-Assemble on buns with lettuce and sauce. Serve with desired side dish.
